"We would like to say how pleased we are with your replastering work in our spare bedroom. We were already impressed when you volunteered to do the job on a Sunday, only ten days after coming to inspect the room. We were even more impressed that you turned up on time at 8 a.m.! Once you had started, we were hardly aware of the work going on upstairs. There was very little noise or disturbance, and any mess was kept well confined to the room and properly tidied up.

I write to place on record my thanks for the plastering work that you have recently carried out for me.
I found your service really refreshing from our first meeting when you were punctual and informative with your advice. We were able to agree a very competitive verbal quote on the spot and you were very flexible and agreed to carry out the work at short notice.
On the day, I was very impressed when you arrived (again punctually) with a letter confirming accurately the details of our agreement. I then left you in the house alone to carry out the works, something I don’t generally like to do but in your case I was put at ease by your pleasant and friendly demeanour.
On my return home (at about 6:00pm) I was delighted to find that you were still there working and hadn’t left the job simply because of the time, as you wanted to ensure that the job was finished. Once you had finished, you tidied the area well and thanks partly to your precautionary floor covering and partly to your general tidiness the area was left as you had found it that morning except with the plastering finished to a good standard.
I found your service very straightforward and honest and your work very neat and tidy. I would not hesitate in recommending you to my colleagues and friends and I look forward to seeing you again when I have more work for you.
